One key focus of the program is promoting projects that reduce energy consumption in industry. For instance, the IEE project, active since 2011, has helped over 450 companies cut electricity use by 5.6 TWh, equivalent to 6.4 million tons of CO2. Another area of focus is water resource management. Aluminum manufacturer Hulamin, collaborating with the NCPC, has achieved a monthly savings of approximately 1 million liters of water.
