ACWA Power, a Saudi Arabia-based energy company, has announced the signing of a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with the South African state-owned enterprise Eskom. The electricity will be generated from one of the world's largest solar power plants with a capacity of 442 MW, equipped with battery storage of 1200 MWh. This facility is located in the Northern Cape province of South Africa.
